  13. Pleasantville, NY--5 July 91:  Abbott Systems, the developers of CanOpener and
  14. Cheshire, today announced Calc+, a professional Mac calculator with both
  15. decimal and DTP features.

  17. Intended as a major upgrade to the standard Mac Calculator, Calc+ features a
  18. multi-line display which can be resized, scrolled and edited, paper tape
  19. printout, % key and full keyboard support. Calc+ can also be 'parked' on the
  20. desktop as an icon for fast access. But Calc+ is really 2 calculators in one,
  21. because it can also perform desktop publishing calculations in inches,
  22. centimeters, picas and ciceros and do instant conversions between any of these
  23. units.

  25. Calc+ is targeted at all Mac owners, especially spreadsheet and desktop
  26. publishing users and will ship in August. It will be available through
  27. MacWarehouse and other mail order companies plus most retail outlets.
  28. List price is $79. Like all Abbott Systems products, Calc+ comes with free,
  29. unlimited, 800-line customer support. It is System 7.0 compatible and installs
  30. as a DA.
